What Do We Think About This Ping Pong Trick Shot By Pat McAfee?

Yesterday evening, Pat threw this vid up on Twitter and stirred up a pretty big debate amongst Barstool employees, fans, and haters alike. Everybody that’s anybody felt strongly one way or the other about whether or not Pat replicated this “curve the bullet”-esque trick shot on a ping pong table (something punters apparently have lots of time for), and since they don’t do blogs over there (not a shot, just a fact), I’m putting it up on the site for those of you who haven’t seen it yet to decide.

Personally, I love Foxy, he’s my boy, but I had to hit him with the #GoToHellFoxy on this one. While Pat’s ball didn’t skid across the table quite the same as in the original, the curvature of the ball and the near impossibleness of a return on his hit made it close enough for me. At the very least, it showed me that Pat could replicate the shot with the exact same results if he tried long enough, something I could never do.

I was the asshole in high school (could stop this sentence here but I won’t) who would abuse the ever-loving shit out of the “can’t lose on a serve” stipulation and just fire the most ridiculous serves anyone had ever seen until my opponent got completely tired of it and started trying to hit them. I’d usually get the game tied up with that method and then it was a 50/50 shot whether or not I was taking home a game I’d been losing like, 10-1. Total dick move, but god if it didn’t crack me up.

Anyway, back to Pat’s shot. What do you think? #TeamFoxy or #GoToHellFoxy? Seems the office is leaning with Foxy for now, but we’ll see…
